SET Coaching

SET- State Eligibility Test (SET) is organized by Government of Kerala for Higher Secondary School as well as for Non Vocation Higher Secondary School Teacher aspirants. Government of Kerala has authorized LBS Centre for Science and Technology to organize and conduct the SET. Aspirants have to appear for papers: Paper-I is common for all candidates; Paper-II focuses on the specilized subject of candidates at Masters Level.

Who can appear

Teacher aspirants possessing Masters degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination along with a degree in education (B.Ed).

Courses Offered

Two coaching events are organized every year.

• Coaching for Paper –I only is provided twice a year at Sandesabhavan, Thalassery (Two Events per year- April-May & November-December)
• St. Joseph’s Church Auditorium Iritty near Nivil Hospital (Thanthode) (Two Events per year- April-May & November-December)

Syllabus

The syllabus consists of two papers: General Paper (Paper -I) and Paper II as per subject opted by students.
